Del Sotto signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Panthers on Sunday.
Scouting Report
He has never lived up to his status as a first-round pick (No. 20 overall in 2008) but continues to be a useful defenseman because of his skating ability. Still knows how to move the puck. His defensive-zone coverage is not optimal and he has to be more careful with the puck, especially in his own zone.
Long Range Potential: Mobile depth defenseman.
